Together with the mountain guide we went through the ascent technique and picked up a few good tips. In the end all of us on the tour made it to the Schafberg in one piece. On the summit we refilled our energy tanks with lots of chocolate🍫 and other snacks🥨 and got ready for the descent. Even I, as a ski beginner, got down to Realp safe and sound thanks to a few good tips and tricks from the mountain guide. The tour was brilliantly organised and very doable for touring beginners.
