🧭 The hut at a glance
The Lidernenhütte lies at 1,727 m on the north slope of the Chaiserstock chain, in the middle of the little-known Riemenstaldental in the canton of Uri. Built in 1944 by the SAC Mythen section, the rustic timber chalet has kept its character over the decades. From here you have an open view across Lake Lucerne to the arc of the Jura – and some of the finest sunsets in central Switzerland.

- Group dormitories only – no comfort, four-bed or family rooms
- Sleeping bag liner compulsory
