🧭 The hut at a glance
The Albert-Heim-Hütte stands at 2,542 m on a prominent rocky knoll in the Furka Pass area, at the foot of the Tiefengletscher and in the shadow of the Galenstock. It belongs to the SAC Uto section and is named after the alpine researcher, geologist and honorary SAC member Albert Heim, who himself proposed the site for the hut in 1888. Inaugurated in 1918 and extended in 1970, the hut was completely rebuilt in 2018 and has been on the cantonal heritage register since 2014.

- Around 60 beds, divided between 5 rooms with 7 to 27 beds each
- Most beds are equipped with duvets
